Factinsect wins International Startup competition
Aaaaand the winner is: we
Good news! Last week we (Romana and Silja) went underground for three days at Startup Live pitch contest. There, together with around 30 nice people from 13 other startups, we refined our business model and pitch. We got support and feedback from graeat mentors and the Startup Live team. On Saturday, March 27th, the big moment had arrived: In a live Facebook broadcast we presented (for exactly 2.5 minutes ) Factinsect in front of a top-class jury of investors, experienced business people and startup consultants. And we won.
3rd place went to the art education platform Artheca, 2nd place to the TV network Streemfire, and we secured first place with our AI-based automated fact check.
Great prizes!
Our efforts have paid off, because the price for our victory is impressive: tickets for “Lead Today, Shape Tomorrow”, the festival of the “Female Founders”, tickets for the “Wolves Summit” in Warsaw, a license for the financial management software “Gibble” from Raiffeisen Landesbank Oberösterreich and a media package from the business magazine “Die Macher”.
Above all, there is a meeting with “pioneers” and thus a chance for an early stage investment.
